I did the same in C:\Users\Dylan\AppData\Roaming\ which also contains a Rainmeter folder. I right clicked my Rainmeter folder in program files, went to the security tab and under my name can see that all permissions are allowed for my user name. I am using my regular Windows account which has full administrator permission.
I will put this information in my older post too in case someone else encounters the same issue. I put in this code at the top on the line below and above where the code states: SkinPath=C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\Skins In the rainmeter.ini file which you showed me I added in the following code: You have solved that problem and a related one that I posted a few days ago when I could not run rmskin files because I was getting an error message which said "SkinPath not found Make sure that Rainmeter has been run at least once."
